Hobbits are real. Fairy tale creatures such as pixies and elves have been around since written language, however recently we discovered a hobbit. The bones of homo hobbittus were found in western Scotland last year. Also found was a small house built into the side of a hill with small tables and chairs as if this was the hobbits house. A long pipe was found at the burial site as well as some warm mittens.
Homo hobbitus is approximately 4 feet tall with thick hair feet, some of the hair was found attached to the skeleton. The brain capacity is very similar to humans, just a little bigger with many more folds. This suggests that hobbits were more intelligent than humans. It is unknown how this hobbit died, but it could have been too much pipe or beer based on the lore. The theory is that hobbits lived alongside humans for some time until about six thousand years ago and then they disappeared. Finding this specimen is amazing. Dr Jones said It will change the way we look at the world.
